The name of this web page came from the song "El desertor" ("The deserter" in spanish) a song from the chilean band "SilverWood", and the frase "Es mejor ser un desertor que morir usando el uniforme de alguien mas" ("It is better to be a deserter  rather than dying wearing someone else's uniform") means that it is better to stop being part of a group in wich you are always criticized than wasted your time trying to be something you are not. That's way it is going to be in "El desertor ingles": every opinion, every point of view is going to be respected.
